Mahwish Faiyaz

Life’s journey is filled with transitions, challenges and moments of self-discovery. At times, we all need a safe and supportive space to process our emotions, reflect on our experiences and move forward with clarity. That’s where Mawhish comes in.

Mahwish is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) and Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCPA) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology.

She provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for children, youth, individuals, couples and families. Her approach is rooted in collaboration. She'll work with you to explore your emotions, recognize patterns and build tools that support lasting change.

Every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Mahwish's sessions lay a foundation for healing and self-exploration. She'll guide and support you in working toward greater self-awareness, emotional well-being and the confidence to move forward.

Healing should never be limited by language. Which is why she offers therapy in English, Urdu and Hindi. No matter where you are on your journey, Mahwish will walk alongside you—helping you reconnect with yourself and embrace a future filled with strength and possibility.

Your journey begins here.

Sheza Shahid

Growing up a visible minority, Sheza has often felt like the outsider in the room. But she wouldn't give up what makes her different—her hijab, the colour of her skin, or her beliefs. This experience has shaped how she shows up as a counsellor: she wants everyone to feel seen, heard, and understood, even when it's hard to put into words. She especially understands the significance of cultural and religious values, no matter the differences.

Sheza is a Student Counsellor completing her Master's in Counselling Psychology. She is passionate and committed to serving the Muslim, immigrant, and BIPOC communities. She values culturally-informed care and strives to foster understanding and empowerment through every session. Together with her clients, she identifies patterns, develops practical ways to navigate life's experiences, and nurtures resilience.

Growth comes from small meaningful steps. It is the courage to notice your thoughts and feelings, to challenge unhelpful patterns, and to practice new ways of responding to life. It’s the quiet victories—speaking your truth, setting a boundary, or giving yourself permission to rest—that build confidence and self-awareness over time. Sheza supports clients in recognizing these moments, understanding that every step forward, no matter how small, contributes to lasting change and a deeper sense of self.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone—and you don’t have to do it in silence.
